While looking at the video of the 2017 Chevy Silverado Review, I couldn’t help thinking it would be a shame to get these trucks dirty, let alone to drive them with work clothes on. During the last decade or so the light truck market has gone ahead in big leaps and along with it development.
Todays light trucks are no longer strictly a work or farmers vehicle, but come with all the comfort, bells and whistles and safety features common in cars and SUV’s. While on safety there is a second video further down about an earlier jacked up NBC news report of a Chevy pickup so called safety issue that caused a few heads to roll.
Special thanks to Car TV for this review. Keep a watch for a full road test coming soon.
Utilizing the double cab set up giving seating for a total of 5 people, along with a towing capacity of up to 5 tons plus a useful payload as well make todays light trucks a very versatile vehicle. Adding in the 4 WD option and you can think about going places you normally have to flag away.
Sales show the Chevy Silverado as being Americas favourite pickup, no mean feat in this hot market, and one can’t help wondering what GM will do next to ensure the Chevy stays that way. Watching this 2017 Chevy Silverado Review of the High Country model they certainly seem to have all their bases covered. I can see GM pushing their Dura-Max diesel engine option more as this makes a lot of sense especially if you are into towing and/or clock up a reasonable amount of miles each year.
