1967 Chevy C10 Restomod

There is no doubt this 1967 Chevy C10 Restomod is a real beauty of a truck, and interestingly is the unique show truck for the substantial Holley Speed Shop range of products.
Holley to many of us is the name associated with carburetors which the Holley Brothers began making back in around 1902 and became the standard carb of many American car manufacturers.
The company Holley Performance Products still today make carburetors plus a large inventory of performance and dress-up engine parts, including their own fuel injection system.

It is obvious no money was spared in rebuilding this Chevy C10, and apart from suspension modifications and wheels it appears to be original.  Well not quite as the power plant is a LS3 Corvette engine putting out around 500hp, along with a manual transmission.  There is much more detail of the modifications in the video.
Naturally Holley products have been used wherever practical,  including a Holley Fuel Injection system which actually tunes itself.
How cool is that?  Fit the fuel injection system,  fire up the engine and the system then tunes itself to suit the engine.

The colour is the original green the truck was painted when new, and as much as possible of the body is the same original specification when purchased new.
I was particularly impressed with the fit and how even the gap is around the hood, doors and tailgate.
The person who did the fit and assembly would have put some serious time in achieving this, and it certainly shows.
The suspension has been tastefully lowered and this C10 drives so well as you will see in the video road run.  Both Jay and Tom, the CEO of Holley have a burn out competition to finish this video on a good note.

The 1967 Chevy C10 in standard form had the option of 2 engines, a 250 cub in 6 cylinder, and a 283 cub in V8, both with a 3 speed manual transmission.
Options were 4 speed manual, or  Powerglide or Turbo-Hydramatic auto. Other engine options were 292 cub in 6 cylinder, or 327 cub in V8.  another option was 4WD.
Body styles were Fleetside as is this one, or as a Stepside with fenders covering the rear wheels.

Here are links to 2 more rather special and hot C10’s:

The Holley Fuel Injection tunes itself,  so sensors and computers properly mated
can have a good use on a vehicle after all.

Special thanks to Jay Leno’s Garage for his usual high quality reviews,  and to Wikipedia for
having technical details I wasnt sure on.
Photos are screen shots from the video.
